Outlaws Win with Late Heroics
Diego Acevez did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to spare the State College Swallowtails an extra-inning, 5-4 loss to the Baton Rouge Outlaws at Coca Cola Stadium. Acevez went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The third-place Outlaws have won 5 straight.

The Outlaws got a clutch hit from center fielder Will Hambleton. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Outlaws.

"Piling up wins will eventually take us to the promised land," said Hambleton.
