Fans watched the Calgary Cowboys and the Thunder Bay Black Bears fight to the finish.

The Calgary Cowboys wiggled past the Thunder Bay Black Bears, 4-3, at Edgbaston. The win was highlighted by the performance of Calgary pitcher Rob Schuss. Larry Vincent, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-3. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 1 innings.

Gerald Lambruschini delivered a big hit for Calgary. The first baseman drilled a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Cowboys ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.

Postgame, Cowboys manager Thomas Hughes complimented Schuss. "No question about it. The Tank was terrific."

With the win, the Cowboys hiked their record to 66-41.
