The Dallas Texans beat the Mexico City Luchadores, 6-3, at The Royal Grounds. Dallas second baseman Vince Harris had the hot bat. He belted 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Chris Nugent collected his 9th save. The win lifts Dallas to a record of 11-18.

Jordan Ochoa had a big solo home run for the Texans in the top of the second inning. With Dallas leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he got a cutter from Alex Boulware and swatted a home run to left. It was his 1st home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Texans ahead, 2-0.

Dallas manager Lester Burrow commended his team for "doing what it takes to win."
