The Montreal Mounties defeated the Bloomington Blazers by the score of 8-6, with the biggest share of the credit going to left fielder Alan Willer. Willer was 2-3 with 2 doubles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Mounties on the day. The winner was Randy Mowers in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Oscar Lopez took the loss. Nimulodi Bausi closed the door for Montreal, picking up his 1st save of the year.
