Jose Ayala was locked and loaded, helping the Tallahassee Captains beat the State College Swallowtails, 5-1. Tallahassee is 4th in the RCL AAA Bobby Cox Division with a record of 58-63.

Fernando Arellano dealt the Swallowtails a blow in the bottom of the fourth. Batting with the bases loaded and Tallahassee leading 2-1, Arellano hit a 0-2 fastball for a run-scoring single.

"Jose's a gamer," said Tallahassee manager Luis Sánchez. "Glad he's on our side."
