Thunder Bay turned a good effort from starter Ian Baer into a win over the Baton Rouge Outlaws at Edgbaston. The Black Bears won the game, 6-2. Baer got the win, improving to 7-4. He gave up 7 hits and walked 2 over 6.2 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Efrain Gutierrez notched his 1st save of the season.

Tom Cole helped his team take an early lead with a 2-run single. It came in the first inning, making the score 2-0, Black Bears.
