Cats Handed 4-2 Loss by Waimea
Waimea turned a good performance from starting pitcher Marco Acosta into a 4-2 triumph over the Fort Worth Cats at LaGrave Field. Acosta got the win, improving to 4-14. He gave up 4 hits and walked 2 over 5.1 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Earning his 25th save of the year was Julian Hill.

Waimea used a well-timed hit by Tyler Donnell to capture the win. The center fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Wind ahead, 4-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

Waimea manager Orlando González commended his team for "banging out a nice win."

With the win, the Wind have a record of 53-67.
