The Milwaukee Millers downed the Buffalo Bison, 6-2. The hitting star was right fielder David Pastrana. Pastrana was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a double for the Millers. Milwaukee sits at 14-11 in the early going.

Mario Rodriguez had a big run-scoring double for the Millers in the bottom of the first inning. With Milwaukee leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a forkball from 29-year old right-handed pitcher Jonathan Solano and swatted a double to center. It was his 12th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Millers ahead, 3-1.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Milwaukee manager Kakuzo Kobayashi.
