Firebirds Topple Freeze with Late Rally
The Albany Firebirds topped the Minneapolis Freeze, 7-3, in TML AAA action at The Ice Box. The game was highlighted by the performance of Albany pitcher Chris Finley. The Firebirds now have a mark of 55-48.

Albany used a timely hit from Glenn Ledlow to get the win. The second baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Firebirds ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

Ledlow told a Albany Daily reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
