Nationals Drop Contest, 2-0, to Albuquerque

The Albuquerque Cacti used a great performance from 20-year old right-handed pitcher Pat Tracy to beat the Acadia Park Nationals, 2-0, at Bar Habor Stadium. Yoo-ngan Chen closed it out for Albuquerque, earning his 26th save. Albuquerque is now 66-37.
The Cacti got a big at-bat from catcher Dave Phillips. For the game, Phillips went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 11th home run of the season gave Albuquerque a 2-0 lead.
"The old adage is true," said Phillips. "Good pitching stops good hitting."
