Hens Victorious at Waimea, 5-3
Hendersonville picked up a win at The Wind Tunnel, bumping off the Waimea Wind, 5-3. Pitcher Khalil Haywood was a major reason the Hens emerged victorious. The setback makes Waimea 55-47.

Hendersonville used a clutch at-bat from Jeff Poor to capture the win. The third baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Hens ahead, 4-3. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"Khalil's as tough as he is talented," said Hendersonville manager Tae-geun Lee.
