Warriors Beat Luchadores in 10

The Walnut Creek Warriors faced a tough opponent in Mexico City pitcher Bob Jordan, but found a way to pull out the victory at The Royal Grounds by a final score of 6-5 in 10 innings. Jordan went 7.2 innings and allowed 3 runs. Early on, the Warriors, at 17-7, have excelled.
Matt Schaefer came through with a big-time hit for Walnut Creek. The center fielder smacked a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 6-5. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"To not win that game stings a little bit," said Mexico City manager Prince Percival Papenfuss.
