A good performance from right fielder Jesse Weinreb helped the Tallahassee Captains defeat the Reno Raiders, 4-3. Weinreb went 2 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Captains. Yang-cheng Huang, 1-1, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. With the win, the Captains hiked their record to 55-44.

Weinreb had a timely hit for Tallahassee in the bottom of the seventh. With Tallahassee trailing 3-1, he turned a 2-2 slider into a 3-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season, making it 4-3, Tallahassee.

"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Weinreb.
