Jamie Hansen was locked in. The right-hander led the Buffalo Bison to a 5-2 win against the Bloomington Blazers at Thundering Grounds at Bison Stadium. Mike Waldrup recorded the save for Buffalo, his 7th of the season. Buffalo is now 16-7.

Jerry Thomason drove in one run for Buffalo. The 27-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Jarrod Banta. It was his 10th RBI of the season.

"We put our best foot forward tonight," said a smiling Thomason.
