The Buffalo Bison knocked off the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 6-5, in Thurman Munson League action at Thundering Grounds at Bison Stadium. Buffalo pitcher and St. Paul, Minnesota, native Chris Courtney had an outstanding performance. The Bison, now 17-6, have played well so far.

Had Mace Kota not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Kota hit a 2-run single. That made the score 4-2, in favor of the Bison.

"I'm just trying to make sure I'm focused for each and every pitch," said Courtney.
