The Eureka Hornets picked up a win at Metroplex Park, dropping the Dallas Texans, 9-3. Ezedine Adegoke, who is tied for 9th in the RCL in quality starts with 3, was the difference-maker. The win leaves Eureka with a record of 14-15.

Eureka used the hitting of Ray Goodwin to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Hornets on top, 3-0. For the game, Goodwin had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"Ezedine's not intimidated by who's stepping into the batter's box," said Eureka manager Juan Montés.
