The Kansas City Tornadoes defeated the Milwaukee Millers, 8-4, in Thurman Munson League action at Debris Field. Kansas City pitcher Simon Slama had a standout performance. Tony Miguel sewed up the save, his 7th. The win takes Kansas City to 13-10.

Josue Paula, who finished 5th in the TML in triples with 8 last year, helped out the Kansas City cause in the bottom of the second inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the third baseman drew 1 walk in 5 plate appearances.

"It all depends on which version of our team shows up," said Paula. "When we put it all together, I think we're a great team."
