Good production from catcher Jean-Louis Barrier helped the Montreal Mounties topple the Eureka Hornets, 10-5. Barrier went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Mounties. Matt Lopas earned the win for Montreal. He lasted 7 innings, allowing 3 runs on 5 hits, while striking out 6. With the win, he raised his record to 3-1. With the win, Montreal elevates its record to 16-8.

Barrier had a key at-bat for Montreal in the bottom of the second. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and gave Montreal an early 3-1 lead.
