Bumblebees Drop Contest, 7-3, to Reno
|
No one was more impactful than Chad Esparza in the 7-3 Reno win over Pasadena. Esparza, the 5th overall pick in the 2058 draft, went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Nick Elder earned the save for Reno. The win puts Reno at 56-55 this season.
With Reno leading 2-0 in the top of the first, Esparza hit a fastball from Gary Mims for a grand slam home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Raiders ahead, 6-0.
"We're just going to try to build off this win," said Esparza.
