It was a good time at McClure Field, where fans came to watch the Calgary Hitmen and Forest Acres Falcons get after it.
The Forest Acres Falcons topped the Calgary Hitmen, 4-2, in RCL AAA action at McClure Field. The player of the game was Forest Acres pitcher Alarico Lopez. Gerardo Lopez earned his 9th save in 13 chances.
Forest Acres took a 2-1 lead on Gary Turner's 13th hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Turner hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Calgary pitcher Seth Watkins shaking his head.
"I like what I saw today," said Forest Acres manager Vic Eassson, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
The current losing streak for Calgary has reached 4 games.
