The Carrier Dome was rocking after an exciting Captains win.

In a low-scoring contest between the Tallahassee Captains and the Bowling Green Racers, 24-year old right-handed pitcher Bill Cordoba proved to be the difference. The Tallahassee right-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-2 Captains win. Andy Gardner, who is tied for 5th in the RAAA in saves with 17, was the winner in relief. His record is now 3-4. The losing pitcher was David Heisler.

Tallahassee got a knockout punch from Jeremy Domanski. The right fielder hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"We're playing like we're capable of," said Tallahassee manager Luis Sánchez.

The Captains sit in second place in the RCL AAA Bobby Cox Division with a record of 58-51.
