Behind a solid performance from catcher Gabriel Juarez, the Fairfield Flash defeated the Calgary Hitmen, 9-5. Juarez was 2-3 with a home run, a triple, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Flash. The winner was Bill Schindler in relief. His record improves to 2-2. Sergio Reyes took the loss. Fairfield is now 53-54, Calgary 55-55.

Eric Marino, the Fairfield first baseman, contributed a grand slam home run in the bottom of the seventh inning to make the score 8-5, Flash. For the game, Marino was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once.
