The Buffalo Bison and Bloomington Blazers riveted fans at Arson Arena.

The exploits of third baseman Ryan Wairimu, who finished 3rd in the RCL in triples with 8 in 2063, helped the Bloomington Blazers defeat the Buffalo Bison, 9-2. Wairimu went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The Bison drop to 12-14 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2065 season.

Lateef Zitouna had a big 2-run double for the Blazers in the bottom of the first inning. With Bloomington leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a cutter from 33-year old left-handed pitcher Gary Halliwell and swatted a double to right. It was his 14th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Blazers ahead, 3-0.
