Stagg goes 3-for-3 to Ignite Caterpillars Offense
The Peoria Caterpillars trumped the Amarillo Armadillos, 7-2, at Armadillos Park. Peoria first baseman Ryan Stagg was terrific. He was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Peoria now sits at 55-52, while Amarillo falls to 56-52.

Stagg had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 2-0 cutter from Wayne Blanchard, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Caterpillars a 3-2 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Stagg.

"I really like what we did out there today," Stagg said after the game.
