Hens Take Down Wind, 8-7
Well, that's how to end a game in style.

Khalil Adams did all he could to help his team prevail. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Waimea Wind from losing the game, 8-7, to the Hendersonville Hens in 10 innings at The Coop. Adams was 2 for 2 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times. John Richardson got credit for the win, improving to 6-2. He allowed 2 runs on 1 hit in 2.1 innings.

The Hens got a clutch hit from left fielder Nate Chambers. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Hens.

"Big win," said Chambers.

The RCL AAA Tony La Russa Division-leading Hens have a record of 62-30.
