Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Black Bears
The Thunder Bay Black Bears battled the Acadia Park Nationals into extra innings before the outcome was decided. The Black Bears won it, finally, 8-5, in 12 innings. In the game, Thunder Bay right fielder Danny Torres went 3-6 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. Thunder Bay pitcher Nathan Al-Assel got the win. He's now 4-2. Tyshawn Roundtree was tagged with the loss. The Black Bears sit in first place in the RCL AAA Tony La Russa Division with a record of 58-33.

Thunder Bay got a knockout punch from Tomas Cruz. The pinch hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the bottom of the 12th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Cruz said.
