The Indianapolis Ambition earned a win at Ken Griffey Jr. Plaza, stopping the Amarillo Armadillos, 6-2. Starting pitcher Quentin Campbell played a big role in his team's success. The winner was Campbell. He threw 6.0 innings of 5-hit ball. The loser was Ray Lovelace. Earning his 1st save for Indianapolis was Harvey Hammond.

Eli Neff had a big 2-run home run for the Ambition in the bottom of the first inning. With Indianapolis leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a slider from Ray Lovelace, the 11th overall pick in the 2058 draft, and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Ambition on top, 3-0.

"I'm not out there for personal accomplishments," Neff told a Indianapolis News reporter after the game. "I'm out there to help the team win, and that's what we did today."

The Ambition sit in second place in the TML AAA Joe Torre Division with a record of 52-39.
