Tony Ramirez had a good game, but he could not keep the Minneapolis Freeze from falling, 4-3, to the Billings Mustangs at Cobb Field. The Minneapolis right fielder went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once in the loss. Roger Montgomery was called on to finish, recording his 13th save. Billings is last in the TMLAAA Cito Gaston League with a record of 42-65.

Mike Rizzo came through for Billings in the bottom of the fifth. With no one out, Rizzo victimized Frank Gallagher with a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put Billings on top, 4-3.

"The effort we put into this one paid off," Rizzo said.
