Keeping Dominates, Whitewashes Fireballs
|
Joplin dropped a 2-0 shutout to Jason Keeping and the San Jose Marshals at The Firepit today. The Fireballs offered little resistance to Keeping, who stopped them on 1 hit, fanned 4 and walked 5.
"It just felt right today," the right-handed Keeping told reporters after the win. "Even with the rain, it didn't throw me off my rhythm."
So far this season Keeping has a 4-3 record with a 5.91 ERA.
