Kodiaks Fall Short, 5-4, at Reno
|
The Reno Raiders did just enough to secure a 5-4 victory over the Calgary Kodiaks at House of Pain. Nobody did more than pitcher Dave O'Donohue, who captured player of the game honors. Reno is 5th in the TMLAAA Joe Torre Division with a record of 38-66.
A key at-bat came in the bottom of the sixth inning. With runners on 1st and 2nd, the batter, Steve Sanders, hit a 2-run double. It made the score 3-2, Reno, and helped them go on to win.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said O'Donohue.
