Fans who congregated at Stars Field were treated to extra-inning drama.

The Calgary Hitmen battled the State College Swallowtails into extra innings before the outcome was decided. The Hitmen won it, finally, 11-10, in 10 innings. In the game, Calgary second baseman Roy Perron hit 3 home runs. He drove in 8 runs and scored three times. Preston Stenzel picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Billy Seal suffered the loss. Eric Lewis recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 27 for 31.

Jin-suk Chung delivered a big hit for Calgary. The right fielder drilled a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Hitmen ahead, 11-10. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.

"There's no quit in this team," said Hitmen manager Brandon Ashley.

The Hitmen own a robust 68-34 mark.
