Indianapolis pitcher Juan Soria did his part in helping his team beat the Calgary Kodiaks, 9-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Indianapolis, at 49-50, occupies 4th place in the TML AAA Joe Torre Division.

Indianapolis used a well-timed hit by Montae Zambello to capture the win. The catcher socked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Ambition ahead, 5-2. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"I think we did a good job of looking for pitches we wanted to hit and put good swings on them," said Indianapolis skipper Zi-jun Gou.
