A 3-RBI performance from Zach Davis, who is tied for 9th in the TAAA in total bases with 176, helped the Reno Raiders beat the Baton Rouge Outlaws, 7-5. Gerry LaForest closed the door for Reno, picking up his 8th save of the year. The 5th-place Raiders now have a win-loss record of 35-65.

Davis had a game-changing at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With a runner on 1st and the Raiders trailing 4-3, he hit a 2-run home run.

"It wasn't our best performance," said Davis, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."
