Avila Propels Waimea Offense in 10-3 Rout
The Waimea Wind coasted to a win over the Amarillo Armadillos, 10-3. William Avila had a good day at the plate for Waimea. He went 3-4 with 2 doubles and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. The Wind raised their record to 32-53.

With Waimea leading 4-2 in the top of the fourth, Avila hit a fastball from Jaylen Jefferson for a 2-run double. It was his 22nd double of the season and put the Wind ahead, 6-2.

"It was a tough day, no getting around it," said losing manager Tyler Bulman.
