Maple and Bloomington got after it at Arson Arena.

The Maple Marauders easily defeated the Bloomington Blazers, 13-3, at Arson Arena, with right fielder Adam Rummer a main contributor to the win. He went 4-5 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4 for Maple. Maple is off to a sluggish start, getting just their 8th win in 27 games.

Mike Flemming had a big bases-clearing double for the Marauders in the top of the fifth inning. With Maple leading 2-0 and the bases loaded, he got a sinker from Mario Solis, who finished 2nd in the TML in ERA with 3.20 in 2064, and swatted a double to right. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Marauders ahead, 5-0.

"Winning is all that really matters and we got it done today," Flemming told the Maple Observer.
