Lacenaire Delivers Clutch At-Bat for San Jose in Walk-Off Win
The San Jose Marshals bested the Forest Acres Falcons by a score of 6-5, with third baseman Toshihisa Higgins getting the main credit. On the day, Higgins was 3 for 4 with 2 doubles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Marshals. San Jose, at 55-40, occupies third place in the TMLAAA Cito Gaston League.

Late in the game, third baseman John Lacenaire had a big at-bat for San Jose. In the bottom of the ninth, he hit a run-scoring single off Gerardo Lopez. The play gave the Marshals a 6-5 lead.

"If we play well, we'll win our share of games," said Lacenaire. "The only team that can beat us is us."
