Bumblebees Turn Back Fort Worth, 4-3

Pasadena Bumblebees starter Josh Burcin was in fine form against the Fort Worth Cats at The Hole, leading his team to a 4-3 win. Burcin got the win, improving to 8-4. He allowed 6 hits and walked 1 over 8 innings. Burcin allowed 3 earned runs. Brian LaJeunesse notched his 5th save in 6 chances.
Had Mike Tetrault not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Tetrault hit a run-scoring double. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Bumblebees.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Burcin.
The Bumblebees have an impressive 61-36 record.
