Tallahassee Tumbles Again, Falls, 4-1, to Minneapolis
The Minneapolis Freeze topped the Tallahassee Captains, 4-1, in TML AAA action at The Ice Box. The standout performance belonged to Minneapolis pitcher and Oxnard, California, native Devin Gammon. Gammon, the winner, moves to 3-3. He threw 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 2 and giving up 5 walks. Mike O'Neil collected his 20th save.

Jason Kimmons had a big 2-run home run for the Freeze in the bottom of the first inning. With Minneapolis leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a changeup from 27-year old left-handed pitcher Mario Reza and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Freeze on top, 3-0.

"We've hit a rough patch right now," said Tallahassee skipper Luis Sánchez.

Minneapolis is now 44-38.
