Dallas pitcher Eric Engel did his part in helping his team defeat the Houghton Gremlins, 3-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. With the win, Dallas elevates its record to 3-0.

Dallas took a 2-0 lead on Ryousuke Hirayama's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Hirayama hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Houghton pitcher Jeromir Hamrlik visibly frustrated.

"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said Dallas skipper Lester Burrow. "I can't complain."
