Fort Worth Cats starter Bob Epperson turned in a sterling performance against the Calgary Hitmen, leading his team to a slim, 2-1 win. Fort Worth's record now stands at 34-48, placing them 5th in the RCL AAA Bobby Cox Division.

Ryan Wasilewski had a critical at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth for Fort Worth. He came through with a 2-run single to put Fort Worth in front, 2-1.

"Bob is tough to beat when he's hitting his spots," said Fort Worth manager Dudha Goli.
