Mark Carrozza powered the Cabo San Lucas Toreros to a win over the Mexico City Luchadores. The final score was 12-8. The Cabo San Lucas first baseman, who is tied for 2nd in the RCL in triples with 2, was phenomenal. He stroked 3 extra-base hits, including 2 home runs and 1 double. The Luchadores are now 9-16.

Mark Launay had a big grand slam home run for the Toreros in the top of the third inning. With Cabo San Lucas leading 4-1 and the bases loaded, he sized up a fastball from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Juan Recio and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Toreros on top, 8-1.

"If you were looking for a pitchers' duel," said Launay, "this wasn't it."
