Moose Rack Up 5-2 Win Versus Memphis
|
Starting pitcher Miguel Negrete was a major factor in the 5-2 Anchorage Moose triumph over the Memphis Privateers. Anchorage is last in the RCL AAA Bobby Cox Division with a record of 29-53.
The Moose got a big at-bat from second baseman George Vivian. For the game, Vivian was 1 for 2 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 7th home run of the season gave Anchorage a 2-0 lead.
"I was just trying to execute one pitch at a time," said Negrete.
