Behind an impressive start by Adam Rockwell, Thunder Bay beat State College, 5-1. The loss makes State College 43-52.
Chris Pagan provided a timely hit. The Thunder Bay third baseman delivered a bases-clearing triple in the top of the seventh inning to put the Black Bears on top, 4-1. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.
Pagan said his team "played with determination."
