The Astoria Argonauts took on the Antioch Coal Miners at The Coal Mine.
Astoria turned a good effort from starter Matt O'Donnell into a win over the Antioch Coal Miners at The Coal Mine. The Argonauts won the game, 5-1. O'Donnell yielded 1 run over 9 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 4, and struck out 4. His record improves to 7-7.
Astoria took control in the top of the sixth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Travis Arant hit a 2-run single to make it 3-1, Argonauts.
"I liked his command," said Astoria manager Amin Kinsaka. "Matt was throwing strikes."
