Indianapolis left fielder Nick Schroeder was instrumental in helping the Ambition triumph, 7-4, over the Astoria Argonauts. Schroeder went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Indianapolis reliever Caleb Brock snagged the win, upping his record to 5-1. Joe McGinnity shouldered the loss. The third-place Ambition go to 46-47.

Tom Ronca, who leads the TAAA in RBI with 71, helped out the Indianapolis cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the first baseman was 1 for 2 with a walk.

"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Schroeder.
