Marty Taborda was terrific for the State College Swallowtails in his team's 8-0 triumph over the Anchorage Moose. His performance earned Taborda rave reviews. State College's record now stands at 28-51, placing them 6th in the RCL AAA Bobby Cox Division.

Taborda yielded no runs on 4 hits over 8.2 innings for the Swallowtails. For the season, Taborda has a record of 2-6 with 39 strikeouts.

"Marty is pitching with a lot of determination and a lot of fire," said State College manager Afalku Coffie.
