Daniel Reyes had a good game, but he could not keep the Madison Muskies from falling, 9-8, to the Astoria Argonauts at Golden Fleece Park. The Madison second baseman went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 in the loss. Astoria reliever Josh Wahl picked up the win, upping his record to 3-6. Niito Toguchi was saddled with the loss. The Argonauts, at 35-44, inhabit 6th place in the TML AAA Cito Gaston League.

The decisive blow was delivered by Nick Johnson in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a run-scoring double off 25-year old left-handed pitcher Niito Toguchi to win the game for Astoria. The home crowd went nuts.

"To not win that game stings a little bit," said Madison manager Daniel Breuer.
