Cacti Bang Out 7-1 Win Versus Baton Rouge
The Baton Rouge Outlaws and Albuquerque Cacti delighted fans at Albuquerque Sports Stadium.

Albuquerque Cacti pitcher Chris Lechelt was in top form, leading his team past the Baton Rouge Outlaws, 7-1. The win for the Cacti lifted their record to 49-29.

Perry Frazer had a big 3-run home run for the Cacti in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Albuquerque leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a sinker from Matt Meyer and swatted a home run to right-center. It was his 3rd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Cacti ahead, 5-0.

"Chris just went about his business, throwing strikes," said Albuquerque manager Randy Haynes.
