The home crowd had a good time watching the Maple Marauders and Walnut Creek Warriors get after it.
A good performance from second baseman Elijah McNeil helped the Walnut Creek Warriors defeat the Maple Marauders, 12-5. McNeil was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 for the Warriors. The Marauders drop to 9-17, as their fitful start to the 2065 campaign continues.
Kevin McArdle, who finished 2nd in the RCL in slugging percentage with .638 in 2063, contributed to the Walnut Creek win with a grand slam home run in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 4 runs batted in.
