The Calgary Kodiaks turned back the Pasadena Bumblebees, 8-7, at Foothills Stadium. Michael Klar, in particular, had a fine performance. He went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The 4th-place Kodiaks hiked their record to 38-39.

Jose Pascoal was the walk-off hero for Calgary. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Kodiaks right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Pascoal told the Calgary Citizen.
