Thunder Bay Gets 5-2 Road Win
Though the conditions were not ideal, the Thunder Bay Black Bears and State College Swallowtails came back from a rain delay to finish their game.

The Thunder Bay Black Bears beat the State College Swallowtails, 5-2. Thunder Bay starter Aymeric Chili pitched a gem. Chili, who is tied for 10th in the RAAA in complete games with 1, went the distance for Thunder Bay. He gave up 2 runs on 5 hits.

Thunder Bay used the hitting of Jorge Batista to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a solo home run in the top of the second inning to put the Black Bears on top, 1-0. For the game, Batista had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.

"We came in and got the job done. That's what it's all about in this business," said Batista.
