The Reno Raiders beat the Astoria Argonauts, 12-5, at Golden Fleece Park. Reno third baseman Phil Peters had an outstanding performance. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. The Raiders now have a mark of 47-29.

Reno used the hitting of Oscar Baez to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Raiders on top, 3-0. For the game, Baez had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
